Happy Birthday Lithium Magazine!

June 16th 2011 marks our first anniversary. That’s right readers; it’s our birthday, and what a wild ride it’s been so far!  Lots of surprises, plenty of highlights and fun, and a mass amount of growth - it’s all been a part of our first year on the web as Lithium Magazine.

The past twelve months has seen a ton of live show coverage, countless interviews, a myriad of CD, DVD and Blu-Ray reviews, a slathering of book reviews, a whack of amazing contests, and some of the best live concert photography on the web. All toll, 752 articles in 365 days. Wow!  And let's not forget the band of loyal followers on all of our social networking pages, or the ever-soaring monthly hits to the website.

So as we celebrate this milestone, we sincerely would like to thank all of our site visitors, from the casual pop-in to our dedicated core readership in Toronto and spanning out to our followers across the globe.  No matter what genre of music or entertainment you visit us for, we truly appreciate your ongoing support. 

We also wish to thank the vast array of record labels, PR firms, promoters, distributors, and management teams we work with that have afforded us the opportunity to become involved with their projects, new releases, and shows. 

And lastly, we’d like to take the opportunity to give our amazing team of writers and photographers a much-deserved pat on the back for their talents, efforts, and loyalty.  What began as a dozen enthusiastic music aficionados has morphed into a bona fide team of badass, yet class act, journalists and photographers.  We thank each and every one of them.
